Technician

Role Overview

As a Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Installation & Setup: Set up and configure hotel door lock software, smart home systems, and other hotel room amenities such as safes and minibars.
  • Repair & Maintenance: Conduct repairs and maintenance for digital door locks, safes, minibars, and other electronic equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Technical Support: Provide on-site troubleshooting and support to clients, resolving any technical issues efficiently.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all services and repairs meet our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients during service visits, maintaining a professional and courteous attitude.
  • Documentation: Keep accurate records of service jobs and repairs for reporting purposes.
  • Inventory Management: Manage tools and spare parts inventory, ensuring all equipment is well-maintained and accounted for.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:

  • Educational Background: Minimum SPM / Certificate in Electrical, Electronics, or a related technical field.
  • Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of electrical systems, digital door locks, and smart home technologies.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of hands-on experience in installation, repair, or maintenance is preferred, but fresh graduates with a strong willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
  • Language Proficiency: Ability to communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong troubleshooting abilities to diagnose and resolve technical issues on-site.
  • Customer Service: Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Driving License: Must possess a valid driving license and be willing to travel for on-site installations and repairs.
  • Physical Fitness: Able to handle physical work, including lifting and moving equipment.
